MANY CHILDREN become aware of their bodies around the age of four. At this time, they start to notice their physical attributes and how they are similar or different from other people. They may begin to pay close attention to things that affect the body, such as minor cuts and scrapes or insect bites. Once this awareness occurs, the introduction to Claudia's KIDS will be greeted with awe and enthusiasm. Claudia's KIDS are a great way to capture the attention of young audiences and establish open communication that can lead to discussions of various health topics and valuable question and answer sessions.

We believe that using Claudia's Kids at an early age will help children establish a connection between their physical bodies and overall health (i.e. "My heart pumps blood that I need to live--I need my heart to stay healthy to pump that blood--eating low-fat foods is good for your heart", will make more sense to the child). Our hope is that the dolls establish a foundation of information in kids that can be built upon the rest of their lives.
